Great food, service, and nice small selection of draft. Prices are reasonable and lots of TVs for game day.
We had a good experience overall. The food was good, but I would have wanted more than 2 chicken fingers in the appetizer we ordered. The salad I ordered was good, the best thing was probably the fried green beans. I did order something to go, I got charged a to-go fee on top of also tipping on that, which I thought was wrong. They also apparently had our to-go order sitting and we waited for a good while and finally had to ask about it. The waitress we had was good though (our first waitress disappeared though which was odd). I would definitely go again as the food was very good!
My salad was nice. Fresh lettuce, vegetables, ranch with the bacon and chicken were good. Wish there were more protein, but it was fine for the buck. Blue cheese crumbles were more frequent as if the salad lettuce were side dishes to it. Eggs were delicious. Fries were tasty and seasoned nicely. I would get it again, just maybe with less crumbles for my personal taste buds. Not a bad spot for a small group in the local Fort Mill area.
My husband and I used to have a pace we would go to faithfully because of how good the wings were. They unfortunately shut down, and I've been searching for those wings everywhere ever since. I found them here this evening. We're just passing through, but I will be coming here every time we come through from here on. Absolutely amazing
Prices reasonable, food came out fast & was good and, service was attentive. Sorry for the half eaten picture but it was an after thought, I had to show how amazing the breading was on those onion rings!!!
The menu looked so good and we had high hopes for amazing food but it was just ok. The onion rings need more seasoning and the blackened shrimp wasn’t really blackened, and for $12.20 I think there were only 4 shrimp in the whole wrap. We’ll give it another try once football season starts as the TVs are plentiful and the drinks go down easy.
Overall Score: 5.1/10 - A sports-themed tavern with decent outdoor seating and a memorabilia-filled interior that contrasts sharply with the inadequate service and poorly maintained facilities. Atmosphere: 6.1/10 - The medium-sized interior and comfortable outdoor eating area are adorned with signed sports jerseys and memorabilia, creating an attractive setting for game watchers. The presence of numerous TVs enhances the sports-oriented vibe. Service: 4.7/10 - Basic needs such as water refills are generally met, and service is attentive. However, the overall service lacks warmth and special touches that could improve the dining experience. The poor condition of the bathrooms, being dirty and smelly, significantly detracts from the overall impression of the tavern. King Kong Burger: 5.8/10 - The burger was served well-done without inquiring about preferred cooking levels. The bottom bun became soggy quickly, and while the patty was ordinary, the cheese quality was noted as a positive aspect. Pricing was considered fair for the quality provided. Mac n Cheese: 1.9/10 - This version of macaroni and cheese, consisting of ziti with a simple cheese topping, fails to meet the traditional expectations for the dish. It is not recommended based on the quality observed. New Orleans Pasta: 6.2/10 - The pasta dish was well-received, featuring good presentation and a properly sized portion. The spice level was well-balanced, and the quality of the cooked chicken added to the overall pleasing flavor of the meal.
